Sit back for a minute and just listen to your breath. Question: How long did it take to start hearing the chatter of your mind? Did you even hear your breath? Ok, try again.
Welcome. Meditation is a must in these times. With stress, illness, the threat of terrorism, worries of money and jobs, where do you go? What do you do? Where do you go to find peace? Even sitting in a sound proof room you have the constant chatter of your mind. How do you make friends with the chatter so that you can let it go and quiet your mind?
Meditation is a tool, a device, to break up, observe and release the chatter of the mind, the constant stream of thoughts from the past and future. I spent many years looking for the perfect practice and continue to practice daily. I hope to make your quest easier by sharing what I have learned.
Let me help you open up your mind to the practice of meditation by introducing different meditation techniques and learning the wisdoms of the masters to apply them to your life.
My goal is to teach you how to find and be with yourself. I will show you many ways to meditate from chanting to sitting and counting your breath. The goal is to hear the silence, to be in the present. The past is gone and the future is not here yet.
